I have been a Physician Assistant for the past 22 years and over these years have performed many minor surgical procedures and challenging laceration repairs. I wanted to take the experience and expertise into the cosmetic realm. Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique used for the eyebrows. This technique can be used on someone with little or no eyebrows by creating an illusion of a more defined and fuller brow. With a manual tattoo technique, tiny hair- like strokes are made while pigment is deposited into the epidermal layer of the skin. Microblading can last anywhere from 12-18 months.
Ombre is a semi-permanent powdered brow technique for clients who prefer fuller result than hairstrokes but still very soft look…the tails of the brow are darker and fade into a light beginning to the brow, giving a perfect Ombre makeup effect. The effects are waterproof, smudge-proof and completely natural. Ombre brows can last 2-3 years.
Blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that can enhance the color and shape of your lips and give the impression of fullness. This is done by depositing color ink into your lips and along the lip line to improve the overall look. The color is subtle and gives a natural looking result. Lip blushing can last 2-3 years.
This technique involves tattooing an ultra-thin black line along the lash line to create an illusion of fuller, darker lashes. This will give clients natural eye-opening effect. The enhancement lasts 3-5 years.
Permanent eyeliner is a method of placing pigment along the lash line, under the skin, similar to tattooing. Eyeliner tattoos can be applied in a variety of styles, from extremely thin and natural-looking liner to thicker lines, and even winged eyeliner. Results can last 3-5 years.
All forms of PMU/microblading typically need a touch-up 6-12 weeks after the initial application to fill any gaps and fading that occurs. After the first touch up most PMU can be touched up every few years, apart from microblading which can potentially require an annual touch-up.
Mascara and eyeliner are not recommended as the oils can break down the bonds of the adhesive. If you are wearing eyeshadows or liners, proper cleansing is imperative.
This will depend on several factors, the biggest one is how well you maintain your lashes. Fill appointments are necessary every 2-4 weeks to replace the lash set that have shed or outgrown naturally.
Eyelash extensions are made of a premium synthetic material called PBT(Polybutylene Terephthalate). PBT is a synthetic semi-crystalline engineered thermoplastic or is a thermoplastic engineering polymer. ALL lashes, whether they are call Synthetic mink, Synthetic silk, Super mink, etc. are made of this material.
